To Dwell or To Rise. Day Two .
I revised my piece to entail a whole new tone that contrasts the original:
Her Light cuts into shadows of a room,
Bleeds profusely
Unmercifully
never touches, never radiates the news feed.
Her Shade seeps into floors of a room,
Pools into the pores of your feet
Trembling hands on your shoulders,
Settle blame, discreet
Sleepiness swallows,
Carves your brain hallow.
But not you, not you.
Your brand new, brand new.
Plastic toy, surrounded by sweet colorful hue
Put on your stockings, look at your new shoes!
Glass eyeballs with crystallized bliss
Surround me, surround me with optimists!
